Compassionate, evidence-based care through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period, so you can feel informed, confident, and deeply supported.
Every birth deserves
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
Meet your doula
I’m a dedicated birth doula committed to supporting families through one of life’s most transformative experiences.
My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey into parenthood. I believe every birth deserves to be met with dignity, informed choice, and continuous, nurturing support.
I have attended a wide range of births, including unmedicated labors, births with epidural support, and both planned and unplanned cesarean births. These experiences allow me to bring a calm, adaptable presence to every path families take to meet their babies.
My personal journey has also deeply shaped my work. I had a home birth where I delivered my own daughter, giving me firsthand understanding of the strength, intensity, and empowerment birth can hold. I understand how important this experience is and how often you will look back on it. It matters to me that you have a positive memory to carry with you.
Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, I work alongside you to help you feel confident, prepared, and supported in your decisions. My goal is to create a safe, reassuring space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered, no matter what your birth looks like.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you welcome your baby into the world.
Meet my trusted backup doula
Madison is my North County counterpart and someone I trust deeply, both personally and professionally.
We met in doula class, and she went on to become my own doula when I had my daughter. Madison is a mother of two and has personally experienced both a cesarean birth and a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).
If I’m unable to attend your birth for any reason, Madison will step in so you continue to receive calm, compassionate support from someone I wholeheartedly trust.
Her personal doula business is called Birthing Out Loud, and I highly recommend her to families throughout North County.

Frequently asked questions
Every family deserves to understand what doula support looks like. Here are answers to a few of the questions I hear most often.
A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
A doula does not replace your medical provider or make medical decisions for you. Instead, I’m there to help you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout your experience.
During labor, I provide continuous support tailored to your needs. This may include comfort measures, breathing and relaxation techniques, position changes, massage, encouragement, partner support, and help communicating your preferences to your care team.
Many families choose to hire a doula during the second trimester, although you can reach out at any stage of pregnancy.
We’ll begin with an initial meeting to talk about your birth plan. If you’re not sure what that looks like yet, we’ll figure it out together.
We’ll have monthly check-ins until the month before your due date, followed by weekly check-ins. You’ll also have full access to call or text me throughout the entire process.
When you go into labor, I’ll arrive at your home and support your emotional and physical needs before accompanying you to the hospital. I’ll stay with you until one hour after you meet your baby.
We’ll meet again a few days after birth and once more around two weeks later to make sure everything is going smoothly.
